Data Centre World: When vision becomes reality

Mar 14, 2019 4:11:54 PM

For more than a decade Data Centre World has been delivering the future vision for the industry. Now in its 11th year, it continues to investigate all the latest trends, opportunities and challenges of the data centre industry. Ted Pulfer, Enterprise & End User Sector Consultant at Keysource tells more…

It’s easy to see why Data centre World London attracts thousands of delegates every year, it’s quite simply THE hive of industry information encompassing the entire data centre stack, in the world, including solutions, services, products, innovation, ideas and people and 2019 was no different.

Keysource attended the event in numbers, with a fantastic presence on the exhibition floor, showcasing our recently refreshed branding, meeting up with clients in our dedicated client space and introducing delegates to our global critical environments business and broader Extentia group services. Over the two days we had advisors from various departments of Keysource on hand to explain our offerings in consultancy, delivery, operation and technology for data centre facilities and the wider critical environment sphere.

Alongside this, Richard Clifford, Head of Innovation, presented his insight on the future of the data centre in a session named ‘Science Fiction at the Edge: How close is the future?’ With a packed-out auditorium, the content was perfect for the theme of the exhibition with a stream that tackled key industry challenges at the edge; Overcoming human error, the skills shortage and how the latest technology can lower the TCO for data centre facilities.

To all our industry peers, previous and existing clients and new contacts; for joining us at the exhibition and our presentation and also those who were able to share an evening with us aboard the Sunborn Yacht, we thank you for your time and we look forward to continuing our discussions soon.

Didn’t get chance to see us at this year’s Data Centre World? If you would like to discuss a challenge or project, please contact one of our advisors on (+44) 0345 204 3333
