Keysource wins DCS Industry Award

Keysource has scooped the ‘Europe Industry Award’ at this year’s Data Centre Solutions (DCS) Awards, which took place last week in London.

The DCS Awards are designed to reward the product designers, manufacturers, suppliers and providers in the data centre sector.

As the only category in the programme solely judged by the DCS panel, the Industry Award acknowledges businesses that take an innovative approach to delivering and supporting solutions for customers.

The win recognises the success of our consultancy led approach, in helping clients navigate design, build and maintenance options when they review their data centre estates. This approach sees us take the time to fully understand our customer requirements, and deliver critical environment solutions that are fit-for-purpose both commercially and technically.

With thanks to the support of many in the public vote we were also recognised as the ‘Runner-Up’ in the Data Centre Management Project of the Year category for our project with the Metropolitan Police Service, which picked up the top award at the DatacenterDynamics awards last year.

As the Met’s Data Centre Management Service (DCMS) provider, Keysource is responsible for managing IT assets, capacity, efficiency, certification and compliance in its data centres. We are working with stakeholders and suppliers as part of a three year partnership to deliver a restructure to the Met’s data centre estate to increase operational efficiency, having a direct impact on the objectives of the organisation’s 2020 vision.

Stephen Whatling, MD at Keysource said:

“Our success at the awards is further recognition of our experienced and committed teams, our service capabilities and our continued innovation to support our customers in meeting their operational, technology and commercial objectives. We’re delighted with the result and I’d like to thank everyone who supported us and took the time to vote, we’re truly honoured and grateful.”
