Keysource has been appointed by Namsos Datasenter AS to deliver professional services for a new Edge Datacentre facility in Norway.
Following their successful completion of initial investment funding supported by Innovation Norway, Namsos Datasenter AS have formally appointed Keysource ltd to lead the production of a full business case.
Namsos Datasenter’s new EDGE colocation facility will contribute to the growth of technology based jobs locally, whilst also supporting the regions businesses, community and wider Datacentres in Norway. This will be achieved through a combination of engagement with local academic institutions, connecting local business and undertaking an innovative approach to elements such as security, and sustainable power & cooling.
Namsos a municipality located within Trøndelag County Norway is well located to provide both excellent connectivity, as well as support a sustainable approach to power and cooling; as recognised by a recent report into Trøndelag located Datacentres where Namsos was well positioned for suitability.
